Well done to all for raising €170 in the raffle in school. The Green Schools Committee presented the cheque to St. Vincent de Paul and all the prizes to the raffle winners.

Read MoreWe are all doing a little extra exercise in school this January and February. We are walking around the playground for 10/15 minutes everyday when the weather is good. It is great fun and we all enjoy getting out for our walk.

We spent the week singing songs, writing poems, doing art activities and circle time activities all based around friendship. We had fun learning all about friendship and how to be a good friend. Read MoreLast week Ms. Moynihan’s Junior & Senior Infants were reading the story book ‘The Monster Pet’. Together in class we decided to make our very own. We used our imaginations to shape and sculpt monster pets using clay. The girls had lots of fun trying to think of names for each one!

They thoroughly enjoy reading with their 4th class reading buddy. 4th class have written a special book for their reading buddy and today presented these to the girls. There was lots of excitement when they received these books.
