First day in Junior Infants

A very big welcome to our new Junior Infants who had a wonderful first day settling in!

School reopens on Thursday 29th of August for Senior Infants to Sixth Class, and on Friday 30th August for Junior Infants. We look forward to seeing all our returning students again and to welcoming all our new ones!

Dancethon

The Parent Council Dancethon was a great success today. We had lots of fun dancing, even the teachers joined in! Well done to all who sent in their sponsorship cards to help support our school.

Challenge to Change – Fifth Class

This year for Challenge to Change fifth class focused on homelessness. Their project was called “4 Walls for Us All?” The girls completed great work including presenting a PowerPoint to the senior classes, quizzes with the senior classes, creating packs for P.A.T.H., hosting a bake sale and presenting their project in Tullamore.

Bake Sale – Fifth Class

Fifth class organised a school bake sale in aid of Focus Ireland and raised an impressive €466. Well done to all !

Aistear in Junior Infants – The Vet

Junior Infants Class would like to thank McElwee Pharmacy and Kiaran Cummins Veterinary Centre Mountmellick for providing us with wonderful supports and information pamphlets for our Aistear Topic “The VET”. We had so much fun working in our Veterinary clinic!
